Daisy Tortuga is a multi-disciplinary artist who works across mediums. Her works are grounded in combining cathartic ideas with handmade tangible objects, while exploring female identity, childhood nostalgia, and the ready-made. Storytelling is a vehicle in Daisy’s work, serving as a means of processing and comprehending the chaos of life and, in turn, facilitating healing. Her work has a distinctive visual language that blends humour with the dark absurdity of everyday life.
Daisy has had solo shows in Malmö, Sweden, and at The Truman Brewery in Shoreditch.
