William Braithwaite

23/05/26 - 06/06/26

54 km, White and black thread, 50 x 100 cm, 2026
William Braithwaite, based in Yorkshire, investigates the symbiotic relationship between sculpture and architectural form. His work employs concrete and repetitive geometry to focus on the raw honesty of volume and mass. His practice emphasizes bodily engagement through large-scale, site-specific installations that reinterpret functional structures as conceptual objects. An award-winning artist recognized by the Royal Society of Sculptors, Braithwaite has exhibited extensively across the UK, including at the Royal Scottish Academy.
