2. ON-SITE OPERATIONS: CCTV, INCIDENTS & EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY

CCTV Operations
We operate Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras across our physical premises at 378 Essex Road. This is done for the protection of staff, visitors, and artworks, as well as for crime prevention and compliance with local premises licensing obligations. CCTV footage is stored securely and routinely overwritten after 30 days, unless required for ongoing law enforcement or legal investigations.

Incident & First-Aid Logbooks
If an accident, medical event, or security incident occurs on our premises, we record necessary details in our on-site Incident and First Aid Logbook. This may include personal details and health descriptions to comply with legal health and safety duties, insurance obligations, and mandatory premises licensing conditions.
Photography & Filming at Private Views

We routinely photograph and film during private views, exhibition openings, and public gallery events for promotional, archival, and social media purposes. If you prefer not to appear in photos or promotional media, please inform our gallery team or contact us in advance.

3. HOW WE PROCESS PAYMENTS AND ART SALES
We manage physical and online payment workflows using dedicated third-party financial tools:

In-Person Card Payments (Bar & Gallery): Processed via Worldpay and Revolut POS Terminals. Data handled includes card tokens, transaction amounts, and terminal interaction logs. Payment data is processed directly by the provider; we do not store full card numbers.

Online Sales & Invoicing: Processed via Stripe. Data handled includes billing addresses, payment metadata, contact details, and transaction history. Digital records of art sales are maintained within our secure Stripe merchant account.

High-Value Art Sales Verification: Processed via Direct Customer Due Diligence. Data handled includes passport/ID copies and proof of address collected for mandatory Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks on applicable transactions (£10,000+ equivalent).

We do not retain standalone hard-copy banking files for art sales; client transaction records are maintained digitally within our secure payment platform accounts (e.g., Stripe) for accounting, statutory audit, and tax compliance purposes.

4. VENUE HIRE AND TICKETING
Venue Hire
When you hire our space for private events, we process the hire client's contact details, contract specifications, and guest count data to execute the booking. Please note: Twilight Contemporary operates a gallery and bar space and does not provide catering or food preparation services. Food provision remains the sole responsibility of the party hiring the venue.

Ticketing & Event Booking
Ticketing for paid or RSVP events, workshops, and late-night gallery programming is processed through Eventbrite and Stripe. When purchasing tickets, your payment and booking details are submitted directly to these platforms in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
