We are interested in proposals that encourage connection and exploration. Twilight Lates are a space for exchange, so whether your practice involves visual art, craft, performance, writing or is an interdisciplinary fusion of many things, we’d like to hear from you.
What we’re looking for:
We’re most compelled by workshops or events that are:
● Hands-on or discussion-based with a focus on building community
● Accessible to a broad audience (no specialist experience required unless clearly stated)
● Between 90 minutes and 2 hours in duration (but can go later)
● Led by facilitators who are confident guiding and working with groups
● Connected to contemporary art, tangible creative practice, or pertinent to current themes
● Take a look at our archive to see a few of our past events
What we provide:
● Use of the exhibition spaces
● Tables, chairs, AV, and other basic equipment
● Promotion through our website, newsletter and social media platformS
● Booking and ticket administration
● Support from gallery staff before, during, and after event
Fee info:
● Workshop leader/group receives 50% of ticket sales.
● Workshop leader/group sets ticket price (with advice from gallery)
● Capacity dependent on the event and will be discussed with gallery
● Payout in advance of event available where there is material cost
Key Dates:
● As soon as an application is received it will be reviewed and responded to within 2 weeks
● Applications are accepted until midnight November 1st
