Studio Visits?
Every month we organise a guided visit to the studio of an exciting contemporary artist. These intimate outings give members the chance to see works in progress, hear about the artist’s practice, and gain insight into the daily realities of sustaining a career in contemporary art. Studio visits are a unique opportunity to ask questions, spark conversations, and connect with the people making work in London.

Monthly Crits?
Each month we host group critiques in the spirit of an art school crit. These two hour sessions provide a supportive, peer-led environment where you can present both finished and unfinished work. It’s a chance to hear thoughtful responses from fellow artists, exchange perspectives, and test out new ideas. Whether you’re looking for constructive feedback, fresh inspiration, or a space to share your practice, our monthly crits help give that space.

What happens during a Studio Visit?
Visits are small, guided sessions where you’ll hear directly from the artist, see work mid-process, and have time to ask questions. They’re designed to be intimate and conversational.

How do Monthly Crits work?
Once a month we host a two-hour group crit, similar to an art school critique. You can bring finished or unfinished work to share, or simply join to listen and contribute feedback.

Do I need to prepare anything for the Crits?
If you’re presenting, bring along one or two pieces of work you’d like feedback on. You don’t need to prepare a formal presentation - just be ready to talk briefly about your practice and what kind of feedback you’d like.

What if I’m nervous about sharing my work?
That’s completely normal. Our crits are peer-led, supportive, and designed to encourage open, constructive dialogue. Many members find it’s one of the best ways to grow their practice and confidence.

Can I attend if I don’t have work to show?
Absolutely. Crits are as much about giving feedback as they are about receiving it. Listening and responding to others’ work is a great way to sharpen your eye and thinking.
